A Meditation and Prayer Session with Lama Tashi Norbu
Sunday, November 8, 2026 · Hermosa Beach, California
Green Tara Prayer + Long Life & Protection (Prayers of Buddha Amitayus). Join us for a meditation and prayer session with Lama Tashi Norbu.
For one special afternoon, a little bit of Tibet is coming to Hermosa Beach.
Lama Tashi Norbu, Tibetan Buddhist monk and internationally acclaimed contemporary artist, will lead a meditation and prayer session — a gathering of Buddhist tradition, prayer, and contemplative practice.
A Special Invitation — Everyone Is Free to Join
Lama Tashi Norbu warmly invites everyone to join this special session of Tibetan Buddhist meditation and prayers. All are warmly welcome.
Green Tara is the beloved female Buddha of compassion and swift, protective action. Her practice is traditionally cherished for removing obstacles and fears, and for bringing protection, guidance, and swift help in times of need. In this session we will join together in Green Tara prayers and chanting, along with the Long Life prayers of Buddha Amitayus for health, longevity, and protection.
Through guided meditation, chanting, and prayer, we will quiet the mind, open the heart, and connect with Tara's compassionate presence — a practice for protection in daily life, peace of mind, and the well-being of ourselves and all beings.
Suggested Donation: $35+ per person. Available to pay at the event.
Original Tibetan Sacred Paintings
A limited collection of Lama Tashi Norbu's original paintings will be available for viewing and acquisition during the Hermosa Beach session.
The works portray sacred Buddhist figures, symbols, mandalas, and spiritual themes drawn from the Tibetan Buddhist tradition.
For collectors, practitioners, meditation spaces, yoga studios, healing spaces, and anyone deeply connected to Tibetan Buddhist art, this is a rare opportunity to see and acquire an original work in person.
Each original painting is unique.
Tibetan Sacred Tattoo
Tibetan Sacred Tattoo by Lama Tashi Norbu
Alongside the session, Lama Tashi Norbu will offer a limited number of Tibetan Sacred Tattoo appointments at Resin Gallery, Hermosa Beach.
Every sacred tattoo is individually designed using traditional Tibetan symbolism and personalized according to the recipient's intention and Tibetan astrological birth chart.
A personal Buddhist mantra is created for each client, with Lama Tashi guiding the recipient in understanding and learning the mantra as part of the sacred process.
The tattoo becomes more than an image on the body — it is intended as a personal reminder and embodiment of one's aspiration, intention, and connection to the Dharma.
